The Banks Family
I have had the absolute honor of working with the Banks family over the last year and a half (or so), from photographing their pregnancy announcements, to a newborn session, and now to a family session for their son's first birthday. It's always special working with repeat clients, but there is something particularly touching about seeing families through such impactful seasons of their lives.
We headed out to Peace Valley Park in Bucks County, PA to catch the autumn light, and somehow I forget every year just how magical golden hour really is in the northeast. (I've been looking for another word to use, but all I keep coming back to is delicious. This light is simply delicious.)
My favorite thing about family sessions are all the little in-betweens. While I'll give some direction, my greatest priority is to let them be themselves and just pay attention to the moments that come most naturally - the way they walk, the way they hold each other, the way they laugh. Here, your shoulders dropped. Here, your breath came easily. Here, I could feel the peace radiating off of you.
