I did say I'd make a post once a month, right?

Which means I'm coming in just in time publishing Fran and Luke's session!!

What a month you guys.

You don't need me to tell you what a crazy place the Earth is in right now. We are far from the end of this situation and I don't know about you, but I have just been trying to keep up and keep my head above water these past few weeks. If you've been in the same boat, please just know that you're not alone in feeling that way. Finding what normal looks like now is weird, and trying to find a balance of understanding with both logic and peace is weird too. We're just in a weird place. So, instead of wallowing in that (as I am 100% prone to do) I'm glad to be able to at least offer this gallery as something positive to keep myself busy with, as well as hopefully give you something pleasant to put on your screen instead of some of the other less pleasant things that are happening in the world right now.

So.

That being said. :)

I have been so, so excited about this session and the finished product of this gallery. Fran and I met two and a half years ago in college through softball, and I am SO immensely thankful for her friendship over these years!

When she and Luke said they would be willing to volunteer to model for me (when I was in a particularly creative mood a few weeks back) AND drive all the way up to meet me, I can not even express how excited I was to show her my hometown AND get to take pictures of them!!

Their session was at Peace Valley Park in Doylestown, PA (which I am super blessed to live so close to), on a beautiful Saturday night when (strangely enough) the park was nearly empty.

Needless to say, this was truly the dream scenario.

I mean. Just look at these two.

Cute doesn't even begin to describe it. Do you see the way he looks at her?

I mean, goodness.

The golden hour was incredible.

Fran rocks red.

They made my job super, super duper easy.

And I'm kind of obsessed with their finished gallery.

This session was also super special for another reason. Luke is going into the Air Force in June - and while Fran is wildly excited for him (and truly the most supportive person ever), they wanted to take this opportunity to spend some quality time together and have pictures taken of the two of them before he goes away. I'm so grateful that we were able to put this session together to capture these special memories!

(... and Fran rocks red.)

Thank you, Fran & Luke, for driving all the way up here and playing around in the mud with me (and letting me third wheel in the best way) to capture these images. It was an honor being able to witness your love for each other.

(...and I miss you already, so let's do this again soon.)

Keep In Touch!
