Philly in springtime is a dream -
and Alexus & Matt's elopement made it even dreamier.
These lovebirds technically eloped completely in private back in January of 2023 at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and we had the pleasure of capturing their formal couples' portraits all around Center City in May.
We started below City Hall on Broad Street before heading up to the east side of City Hall and playing in the incredible architecture and stairways. As any couple who's been photographed in Center City knows, the energy is simply electric - cars honking their congratulations and people cheering as they drive past.
Next, we stopped at the east end of City Hall (with my personal favorite architecture) before heading farther up Broad Street to capture the full effect of the skyline at dusk. As the day faded and every light in the city illuminated, we laughed and popped champagne and finally, truly celebrated. You can tell from their smiles alone how perfect these two are together and how contagious their joy is.
Alexus and Matt, thank you for allowing me to capture these memories for you! You have all of my gratitude, and all of my congratulations forever.
