I know what you're thinking.

"Didn't Anna promise us regular blog posts a long time ago?!"

I did, I did, you're right, and I failed spectacularly at that - but in this delightful summer, where life is a little bit slower, I am going to try my best to get caught up on blogging my sessions and weddings from the past couple of spring & summer months. Because my clients are absolutely amazing, and they deserve to be showed off, even when their photographer gets a little bit (okay, a lotta bit) behind on things like blogging.

On another note, I still have to pinch myself at every session just because I am still amazed that I have the opportunity to do what I do, and celebrate these experiences with you all. Thank you for allowing me into your lives and into these moments. I am filled with gratitude for it every day.

Sam and I have known each other for nearly 8 years.

And typing those words doesn't feel quite real.

We met through softball in high school, and fortunately have stayed in touch ever since! Sam is one of the most wonderful humans I have ever met, from her enormous heart to her incredible smile, not to mention her resiliency in life and general badassery.

Sam took on West Chester University, studying Health Sciences with a concentration in Sports Medicine. She also worked closely with the basketball program throughout her years at WCU; Sam has always had a heart for athletes, from high school all the way through college, and is moving forward with earning her Master's Degree in Higher Education Policy and Student Affairs.

On a more personal level, Sam has one of the biggest hearts I've ever known, and it is an honor to be able to call her a friend. As a fellow photographer, it's always extra special to be able to come together and create some magic - especially in celebration of hard earned and well deserved accomplishments like these.

Sam, my friend, I wish you the biggest congratulations on a job well done - I can't wait to see all that you accomplish.
