Lauren & Gonzalo's joy is palpable
From their engagement photos all the way through their wedding day, if there is one thing you need to know about these two - it's that they're giggling. Lauren & Gonzalo met on Bumble, and the rest is history. Their April wedding was a beautiful and heartfelt celebration, and it certainly didn't hurt that there wasn't a cloud in sight. The blue skies felt, finally, like spring time after a long winter, and Durham Hill Farm in Pipersville, Pennsylvania was simply the perfect location to host their big day.
One of the special parts of this love story, for me, was getting to also photograph Lauren's twin sister Erika's wedding a few months afterward. You'll see a blog post of her and Tyler soon enough. For now, Lauren & Gonzalo have the spotlight.
Durham Hill Farm is a rustic barn venue in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, boasting a beautifully renovated barn for receptions and a pristine outdoor ceremony site overlooking horse pastures. We had simply too much fun capturing all of their rustic and bohemian details in an environment with such rich character.
Getting Ready
Lauren & Gonzalo elected not to have a first look before their ceremony, choosing to have their first glimpse of each other during the ceremony itself. This is always such a poignant moment, and comes with so much anticipation while we all prepare.
Durham Hill Farm's bridal suite is bathed in natural light and provides the perfect location for getting ready.

Couples Portraits
We snuck away at golden hour for couples portraits around the property and friends, these are so tender. Their giggles are contagious.
Soft, yummy light in this April air is a force to be reckoned with.
Celebration
The party was just getting started with this group! We did family portraits, and then let the happy couple enjoy the rest of their cocktail hour and reception - complete with one of my all time favorite cake cuttings. I'm a total sucker for a mid-reception outfit change, and Lauren's denim jacket did not disappoint (I am praying for this trend to stick around forever!)
We danced the night away, cozied up around the fire pit, and enjoyed all of the delicious food and drinks provided by 2 Little Piggy BBQ.
